April 29, 2012 marks the 26th Annual Bay Area Review Music Awards, celebrating and honoring the impact the Great Lakes Bay region's musicians have made over the past year. Before we can celebrate each person, we must nominate each person. From January 26 to March 1 the nominating process takes place. In this portion of voting you can nominate unlisted nominees that will count as your vote in each category or you can select a nominee already listed to increase their chances of making it to the top 5 of each category. After March 1, each category will consist of the top 5 nominees in which you vote for who you think should win in each category.

You must register at http://www.newreviewsite.com/ to vote. Any "ballot stuffing" or multiple voting from the same computer/IP address will result in all votes from that computer being discarded. Further rules and details are available by clicking the link.

While it's not likely Carey will be winning the Best Soundman Award just yet, there are a few nominations in categories you can support:
